TROMPE L'OEIL by RICHARD LANGLEY

The ultimate extrapolation of the mural is trompe l'oeil, literaly translated 'fooling the eye'. Using this particular artistic form, it is possible to do almost anything. Disguise an airing cupboard between two stone pillars for example, or carving a relief sculpture on the wall, all using just paint and artistic skill. If you want heavy marble panels on walls that cannot hold them, Richard can paint them on and at a fraction of the cost of the real thing.
